Here's the Library Loot I've got checked out right now:
A Separate Peace by John Knowles--been meaning to read this one since high school, hopefully I'll get to it this time around.
American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld--currently reading and enjoying
Shadow of the Silk Road by Colin Thubron -- currently reading, slowly. I like Thubron's writing style, but it's taking me some time to wade through it.
Sherlock Holmes was Wrong by Pierre Bayard -- A wonderful book, see
my review.
The Keep by Jennifer Egan -- Very original, read
my review.
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini -- Another wonderful read, see
my review.
Dispatches from the Edge by Anderson Cooper -- I didn't get very far into this one, but my mother picked it up and seems to be enjoying it.

I've added some of your books to my tbr list on good reads...thanks for the tips.
Good stuff indeed!
Those are definitely good reads...I will be curious to see what you think about American Wife when you are done with it. I have heard mixed reviews on that one, but I really enjoyed it myself.
I enjoyed A Separate Peace - I had missed it in HS and discovered it last year after reading a wonderful review at Chartroose's blog. I hope you like it as well.
I've been wanting to read The Shadow of the Silk Road!
Oooh, I'll be interested to read what you think about Shadow of the Silk Road. It's on my list of books to read this year.
Nice loot. I read your review of Slendid Suns and I agree. I also read your review of The Keep and I'm intrigued and will add to to my to be considered list (that's one step away from my tbr list, most books go there first). I'm enjoying looking around your blog.
I could not finish Shadow of the Silk Road. It just got a little too dense and plodding.
I heard American Wife is great! Enjoy!
